Wente Vineyard Tasting Lounge in Livermore

The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards is amazing and well worth the drive from SF. The service was excellent and wait staff knew the menu and made great recommendations. The food was on par with any Michelin star restaurant and definitely worth the cost. The wine menu was diverse and paired extremely well with the summer dinner menu. Highly recommend and will absolutely visit again.

It's not open during concert dates which we learned when we tried to have lunch.No where is this information listed.We were really disappointed as we drove quite a distance to try it.

Talk about going down ... this place used to be the place to go during the weekends for location, food, and ambiance. Location still there and unchanged. Can't say the same for the others. Restaurant management changed about 1.5 yrs back and is been a downward spiral ever since. Changes hours menus popped up prices. We gave up going these after being loyal customers for 6+ years and also hosting several parties in the past including the wine cellars. Just visit and bring your picnic food as you'd be better of. Hope they recover and reestablish themselves again soon.

Went to the restaurant expecting to be able to get a reasonable priced lunch and was told it priced fix with wine pairings for more than I wanted to spend. Very disappointed. Was looking forward to it Big bummer.

A very good restaurant at the old winery. High-end food (in both, taste and presentation) and impeccable service. A very enjoyable patio seating. Pricey, but highly recommended.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary and loved it! The dress code is smart casual (which we admittedly had to lookup on YouTube). Our waitress was a woman who stated she'd worked for the family for 23 years and enjoyed each one. Great food, atmosphere and wine. You won't regret trying this place.

Had a wine tasting on the outdoor patio and paired it with various cheeses and meats. Took a tour of the vineyard and then had a delicious meal at the restaurant. Beautiful views and great staff.

I had the bourbon pumpkin cocktail it's good. The food great as the service. The place wonderful... Everything was perfect for my birthday dinner .... 😃

Wente used to be great, but the last three times I was there, the service was pretty bad. When you have been sitting at your table for more than 30 minutes and haven't been approached at all by any of the servers, something is wrong. Food was good though.

The setting and location is beautiful. I would recommend their Nth degree merlot, it was extremely smooth. Menu is unique and the cuisine is a 4/5. The service is attentive and knowledgeable about the wines.

My favorite winery in the Livermore Valley paired with one of the most talented chefs I have ever met! From estate cattle feed a bottle of Wente wine daily to the fresh vegetables all grown on the property no detail has been overlooked.Highly recommend adding a trip to the restaurant to your agenda!

Came here for wine tasting and some food samplers... had a great time and live music just adds to the great experience

Food and service was good tonight, the show not so much..Went to see Bad Company with dinner and they played for 75 min only including 2 encore songs. Very dissappointing for the Venue and the bsnd

They took great care of my parents and made them feel special. Everyone said "happy anniversary" to them, they printed special menus for them and even gave us sparkling wine or a final celebratory toast.

One of the best filet mignon i ever had was here. Its a little expensive but the food it just worth it. Waiting to go back again

Cool place, live music, good variety of wines, kind of small tasting room but very welcoming!

We were unable to do the tour like we had reserved, but they made up for it with an amazing tasting. The staff was VERY attentive (our glasses were never empty) and not only did we try the taste menu but they allowed to try a few others based on our taste buds. This produced a sale of a wine we wouldn't have normally grabbed because it was so unique. We look forward to returning!

Great place for a concert, had a good time... you cant get a ride share car to pick you up from this location so you'll need to make arrangements with one of Livermores local car services.. There is no phone signal way out there.. We used Livermore Tax ( recommened by Wente) and it was a pleasant experience .

Amazing pork chop dinner. Huge cut of meat, smoked and spiced to perfection. Literally best pork chop I've ever had. I also tried the scallops; they were pretty good.

This review is for the Thanksgiving take-home dinner. First off the it took 40+ minutes in line to pick up. We have picked up once before and it was much more efficient. I don’t what they changed, but it was very time consuming.As for the dinner most of it was enjoyable. The stuffing (which was very good last time) was inedible due to the stems in the herbs and a string in it. And I felt we were shorted on the mashed potatoes. Which is almost as important as the turkey in my mind. The gravy was a bit boring.For the price it should have been easier to pick up and better.

Food and service were wonderful as on previous visits. Love the pork chop, one of their signature dishes. The delightful smokey pork flavor is hard to beat!

A friend and I are big fans of Wente Morning Fog Chardonnay and buy it in Sydney. When we had a free weekend in San Francisco we decided to visit the winery. We had the most enjoyable lunch with matched wines... totally made our week! Sherry served us and was just fantastic. Listened to what we liked and tweaked our wines. Very attentive and friendly. On top of the amazing wines and fabulous service, the food was stunning. We will be back!!

Went to have dinner at Wente Bros. was so disappointed to see the reasturant isn't s reasturant any more, what were they thinking to change a busy resturant to a dull bore, and where did they get the staff out of a Cracker Jack box? I've been a customer for twenty plus years and won't be back and I will tell my friends and customers don't bother going there!!!

This was my third time here and each has been a real treat. Food is incredible and the staff is awesome. Highly recommended if you're looking that special night out.

Marvellous marvellous marvellous! Never thought we could find something like that in the region! Every plate served was so flavourful, topped with excellent service. If I have to pick one thing that I like least that would be the Porto wine served at the end. Other than that, everything else is superb!

We just came home after eating the special Cab and Cow for two. Food was very good, wine was very good, service was excellent, but not enough for a 200.00 bill plus tip. We love Wente and have never complained about the costs before but feel this was not up to your standards.
